Cooling Tunnel is a modern device cooperating with the LUXOR coating machine. It is used for cooling of chocolate or other similar masses, prior to which a confectionery product is covered with the use of a coating machine.
It is characterized by a dual-zone structure, in which a countercurrent cooling system has been applied. In the first zone, the warm product is moved on a belt, and is directed towards the cold air supply stream. After the contact with the warm product, the already heated air goes to the separated second zone where it is cooled again and in this way it operates in a closed circuit.
